DOLE QFO ASSISTED FORMER EMPLOYEES SEPARATION BENEFITS THROUGH SENA


DOLE –QFO has marked another accomplishment when it’s SEADO (SENA Desk Officer) Engr. Mario T. Pauig paved for the release of back pay and separation pay of workers from three (3) different establishments in Quirino and Santiago City through SENA (Single Entry Approach).

 It is one of the program of Department of Labor and Employment which main objective is to provide a speedy, impartial, inexpensive and accessible settlement procedure for all issues/complaints arising from employer-employee relations.

 Just this month four workers were catered under this service, one of which is Maricel Espiritu who complained for illegal dismissal for she was terminated last October 20, 2019 after rendering eleven (11) years in service at Probike Motorcycle Center (Motorstar), Cabarroguis, Quirino. After counseling and conciliation-mediation. Her employers agreed to pay a check amounting One Hundred Nine Thousand Four Hundred Seven Three Pesos & 10 centavos (109,473.10) covering her cash bond, last pay and separation pay.

 Jay Ann Ramos from Santiago City who seek assistance to speed up the processing of her back pay from Wild Wild World Corporation, Panganiban Street Santiago City, where she received Twenty-Eight Thousand Eighty-Five Pesos and 89/100(28,085.89).

 And Lastly Jennifer Alonzo and Mayolyn Balauro complained for illegal dismissal against Sam’s Rock Mountain Resort, Diffun Quirino received Thirteen Thousand Six Hundred Fifty each covering their separation pay. (END/JVP/RBE with report from Ms. Alicia Mason, QFO)
